Detailed description:
Getting a BSOD with the video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error in different state of work. From fresh power up to working at the middle of the day. I've done the dism and sfc proposed solution based on the previous responses.

Windows is up to date at version 2020H2.

Hello James,
After you uninstall the driver, you may run the Windows update to let it detect to install the driver back.
Does that work?

when i did the check for updates, it showed the nvidia driver in the downloads but after the reboot, it did not reflect back on the device manager.
i am ok with it not showing, as long as i don't get that BSOD.

Nvidia has released latest GRD driver 465.89 on 30.03.2021. I installed the same . I have different model laptop
