My device Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED opens every game like this. Horizontal lines while gaming. All my drivers are up-to-date. What's the problem here?

If using both the the native monitor and an external monitor to run the game at the same time, what is the current situation? In addition, what is the operating system build number you are currently using?
Thank you.
Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

@Falcon_ASUS
I am using Windows 11 Pro 22H2 OS BUILD 22621.1702
1) When I use my external monitor both CS:GO and GTA:SA works without any problem.
2) When I use my native laptop screen both CS:GO and GTA: SA flickers horizontal lines on moving things than can be seen on screen.
3) I entered Nvidia Control Panel and changed GTA: SA from "High Performance Nvidia Processor" to "Integrated Graphics" then reentered the game. GTA:SA run smooth without a problem. CS:GO still made flickering issue.
4) Putting the games in windowed mode (not fullscreen mode) fixed flickering issue in CS:GO except GTA:SA since GTA:SA have no native windowed mode.

So I am starting to think this has something to with global settings of Nvidia Control Panel?

I will forward the information to the relevant department.
We will keep you updated and your consideration will be very much appreciated.

Hi @Falcon_ASUS
Today I got annoyed of this issue and backed up files and then clean installed Windows 11. Installed back all my drivers and programs again. Downloaded exactly what I had on my laptop as before the clean install. And as of today (after the clean install) "Horizontal line flickering on games on fullscreen mode" problem is gone. All the games run without an issue!

I still don't know what broke my display before formatting my laptop. I suspect HDR mode of Windows which I turned on and off several times to watch HDR content on Netflix. Or maybe it wasn't HDR mode. TBH I am still clueless what created that problem. Nevertheless clean installing Windows 11 fixed the issue.

I am gonna keep this article for others who had same problem. (I hope it will help them).
