X411UA external hdmi monitor keeps switching off and on

System: Vivobook
Battery or AC: AC
Model: X411UA with Samsung monitor C24F390 23.5"
Frequency of occurrence: continuous
Reset OS: No
Screenshot or video:
========================
Detailed description:
I am using Windows 11.
I am trying to use my X411UA with an external Samsung monitor C24F390 23.5" over an HDMI cable.
The monitor seems to be turning off and on every few minutes.
Then all I have is the X411UA primary display.
When the monitor is detected again it appears to function as expected. A few minutes later it will un-detect and the cycle begins.
I have installed all the latest drivers for my X411UA from ASUS and the BIOS is the latest.
I have also tried different HDMI cables.
Please help!
