I have two options to check the model name of my laptop.
First is the backside of the laptop. There is written R558U.
The second is dxdiag. dxdiag is showing model name is X556UF.
Now I'm confused about whether my model is R558U or X556UF.
As I want to upgrade the RAM of my laptop that's why I want to know the exact model of my Laptop.
How to find out model name of my laptop?
to get exact model number
see system information.
also go to bios , see model number.
type dxdiag.exe in command prompt with admin rights and run it,
you wil see correct model number.
in three options , same model number is showing then that is the correct model number.
