Drivers not working after Windows 10 reinstall on Vivobook 15 K513E

My laptop was having some issues with applications and the quickest thing to do a fresh install of Windows 10. This is normally a very straightforward thing, but running into issues.

During the install, the Windows installer couldn't find the storage device. Loading the IRST driver worked to show it. At that point, I wiped the drive and installed Windows.

In Windows, nothing but the keyboard worked, not even the trackpad. I downloaded all the drivers from here: https://www.asus.com/ca-en/laptops/for-home/vivobook/vivobook-15-k513-11th-gen-intel/helpdesk_downlo...

I can't find anywhere what variety of K513E I have, but it seems drivers for the main components are nearly the same. I installed the Realtek, then Qualcomm, then Intel drivers for wifi, nothing worked. I downloaded and installed virtually all the drivers on that page to no avail. Tried both using the installer and through Extract/PowerShell. Says the driver has been installed, restart and computer and nothing.

As of now, nothing's really working on this laptop. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

For Intel “devices” I like to go directly to Intel’s Driver Assistant.  Have you tried it yet?

Note that is the US website I am not sure which country you are located…

@pepcheto

Please install the drivers for the following.

Thank you.

@Falcon_ASUS Thanks for the suggestion. I tried, they are largely the same drivers, and still nothing seems to work. Says the driver package is installed, restart the computer, but nothing.

Keyboard and USB are working. I managed to update the BIOS using the EZFlash utility. Interestingly enough, when I'm in the BIOS, the trackpad works.

Any other suggestions?

@pepcheto
I would recommend reinstalling the system and installing the drivers for K513EA to confirm.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
