back cover open, my friend rog 8 same thing

We already found the issue on the ROG forum. Its the backcover is slightly misaligned placed. You will notice it on the top. The Backcover is slightly placed more to the side with the USB port.

Some credit cards provide protection from merchant fraud.  If you used one to pay for it, it's worth contacting the card provider.  Not honoring a warranty would be covered.
