Wifi-hotspot not working/dead phone after the firmware update

Anyone from INDIA here who have raised consumer forum complaint against ASUS(for wifi-hotspot issue/dead phone after firmware update) and got their out of warranty ROG 5 motherboard replaced for free. ? 

Found various YouTube posts and videos and people have done it and got their out of warranty motherboard replaced for free. 

Need more information regarding this if anyone here knows how to proceed or faced same issue.
