Yeah, I was thinking of COD when I was typing. But never thought the developers are Chinese too. So yeah, after looking at the developers, that idea fell through. Thanks for that.

Yeah that's fair enough.
Still doesn't answer why Tencent editions have PUBG 90fps but WW doesn't at first. I mean come on, there must be something going on between Tencent editions and Tencent corp.

Well, No snapdragon 888 chip device has support for 90 fps yet. Its something pubg has to implement on their end to optimizatize frame for snapdragon 888 as snapdragon 888 is known for getting very hot on multicore usage. ROG 5 is not alone. MI 11, one plus 9 etc are to name a few that have snapdragon 888 and also dont have 90 fps support yet.
