Key mapping without the "Asus professional dock"

Some time ago I got the ROG Phone 5, great phone overall, but I wanted to connect a keyboard and mouse to play an RPG on a big screen.
My keyboard and mouse were detected without issues, but to my surprise I could not find the key mapping option that I had in the previous ROG phone models, and in my Lenovo duel.
I tried all my adapters and docking stations to see if maybe I will get it to work but unfortunately I had no luck. (And trust me I have a lot of those: 3 different models of dell docking stations, Lenovo dock, dell mobile adapters, Microsoft mobile adapters etc)
I started to look for a solution online, and found out that the key mapping is only available when I'm connecting the accessories through the original "Asus professional dock".
I searched everywhere and you can't even buy it, as it's discontinued - I couldn't even find a used one for sale!
So is there any way to unlock this function for other docks?  Am I missing something here? It worked without issues on my previous ROG phones (there were dedicated docking station for those too, but it was not required as it worked with anything)
Will any other Asus dock allow me to use the key mapping function? Like the Asus Universal dock, SimPro Dock?
Is there any chance to contact someone from Asus to suggest a change in the software to allow third party docks to be used (or any other Asus docks that are actually available) - as it's really awfull to lock a function behind an accessory that I can't even buy!

Welcome to the clan of gamers who believed that they had bought a smartphone of gamers, at the time I based myself on the software and hardware ecosystem of the Rog series, I could still buy the Rog 3 new and these accessories, I still bites the .......... for not having done it.
For the 5 series, there is only the Kunai, which among other things brings nothing compared to the compatible ones and which is excessively expensive.
There is also AeroCooler which is only usable for triggers with light games.
The two best Rog 3 accessories do not exist, one is not compatible, the other is not found, see it was never made
Worse, the software functions, the live stream has been removed (fortunately, third-party solutions work very well), as for the key mappings, also removed, there is no alternative solution to be able to use a third-party dock and map the keys .
For the hardware here is a post, there is also some with a moderator's answer for the key mapping, I haven't found it but it's absolutely certain.

So basically key mapping is locked to their dock that is not available anywhere, and they refuse to unlock it for other docks...
I bought this phone thinking it will have the same set of functions that the old one had, but with a better CPU/GPU...
I'm so disappointed right now, like seriously that is something i did not expect from asus.
Time to sell it and get something else.

You have on the 'aliexpress' market some keyboards/mouses with software for mapping keys in bluetooth but without the HDMI output for the screen, you have to add a usb/hdmi doc etc...
Well, you have to risk buying on aliexpress and testing with a rog 5 I have seen positive feedback with Xiaomi and Iphone but never with the rog 5. what is certain is that it will not work with only Armory Create, the mapping is non-existent, so you need a complete kit with the mapping software

Keyboards from aliexpress require an additional software installation and can get you banned in some games.
