Never, i repeat never go for Asus!
They propably have started working on Rog 6, and will ignore all the issues in Rog 5 as well.
You will regret if you go for Rog 5.

Might as well wait for the Rog 5 now imo
It's launching on March 10
Compare both and then make your choice
And as far as your question is concerned for the rog 3 afaik black crush has been improved upon a little but it still exists (it's not that bad honestly) so yeah there's that but the same is true for almost all 2020-21 OLED releases all have had had tint,black crush comaplains etc
