Rog Cetra Power On w/o Case?

I just picked up a pair of ROG Cetra earbuds. Paired them to my phone, tested, and charged them up. Then put them in my pocket & headed out for the day.
...However, I couldn't figure out any way to simply switch them on. Every manual I found online said to put them back in the case, but obviously driving back home to get the case just to switch them on is not feasible. And it's a bit senseless to have to have a thick case in your pocket at all times, when the earbuds themselves are like 50% smaller.
How can you power on the headphones, without having to carry around the separate case just to do so?
