Have an AIMesh with 3 AXE16000 and 2 AXE7800 routers and the 2.4Ghz wifi stopped working

So, I have an AIMesh network with 3 AXE16000 routers and 2 AXE7800 routers... wired connections, 5ghz and 6ghz networking are working perfectly.   However, the 2.4Ghz network which was originally working is no longer working and I can't seem to get it working no matter what I do.  I see the network in a wifi scan, but I can't properly get devices to connect to it and/or connect and router to the internet.    Sadly I have older devices that only work with 2.4Ghz networks so need to get the 2.4Ghz networking working again.   Does anyone have any steps I can take to get wifi working?   I have tried different versions of the firmware (older and newer) and lots of settings with no luck.  There has to be something I can do to get 2.4Ghz wifi working again.

Hi @Swellvue ,

Thank you for providing the detailed information.

To better assist you with this AiMesh 2.4GHz network connectivity issue, we recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Firmware update: Please ensure that the firmware of your main router and all nodes is up-to-date. You can update the firmware by logging into your router's settings page.
  2. Simplify the network: Temporarily turn off all nodes except the main router and one node to simplify the network environment. Verify that the 2.4GHz connection between these two nodes is stable.
  3. Other device testing: Try connecting other devices (such as a smartphone or tablet) to the 2.4GHz band to see if only your device cannot connect.
  4. Factory reset: If the above methods do not resolve the issue, we recommend that you reset the main router and nodes to their factory settings. Please refer to your router's user manual for detailed instructions. [Wireless Router] When Standard Reset Isn’t Working: Hard Factory Reset - Models list | Official Sup...

Thank you.

I have done all of this.   Nothing seems to be fixing this 2.4Ghz networking problem.
