Model: ZenFone Max with 2x lifespan function of PowerMaster app
Problem Description:
Before installing the Power Master update, I only need to charge my phone once a day. However, after installing the update, I now have to charge my phone twice a day.
Enabling 2x lifespan could lower the charge voltage and prolong the battery lifespan but it also limits battery aging from fully charging.
Please refer to the instruction of 2x lifespan: Turning on this feature increases your battery longevity but phone usage time may decrease per charge.
Battery is draining faster under normal usage when you enable 2x lifespan. You can also choose to turn off the 2x lifespan function and resume to fully charge battery.
