The camera goes to the Beautification mode by default when you toggle to the front camera. There is a unique design in the Beautification mode that you can drag the shutter button upwards (assuming you are holding the camera as portrait) to start the countdown timer. The farther you drag, the longer will be the countdown, max to 5 sec. When released, the shutter button slowly goes back to its original position, and takes the shot.
