[Healthcare system] Utilizing the 'Healthy Group' sharing feature on ASUS HealthConnect

✦ What is the Health Circle feature?

The Health Circle feature in ASUS health wearables represents an innovative blend of IoT technology and cloud-based information sharing. Health data gathered by the ASUS VivoWatch is seamlessly transmitted via Bluetooth to the user's smartphone, where it is stored in the ASUS HealthConnect App. Users can sync their health data from the app to the ASUS cloud after logging into their ASUS member account. Leveraging the advantages of cloud-based sharing, users can extend invitations to family and friends to join their Health Circle within the ASUS HealthConnect platform, enabling mutual monitoring of each other's recent physical changes. Users can access comprehensive insights into each other's health metrics within this social circle over the past 7 days, including blood pressure, heart rate, stress index, sleep patterns, step count, and more. These insights are presented through daily reports and comprehensive weekly summaries, allowing for a quick understanding of the health status of loved ones and fostering a sense of connection and support.

• Overview of the Health Circle data display: Users can access detailed insights into each other's health changes over the past 7 days, covering various metrics such as blood pressure, heart rate, stress index, sleep quality, step count, and more. These insights are presented through daily reports and comprehensive weekly summaries.

✦ Setting up the Health Circle in the ASUS HealthConnect App:
(1) To access the Health Circle feature, open the ASUS HealthConnect App and navigate to the Share and Support section by clicking on the icon located in the upper right corner of the main screen.

• Path to access the Health Circle page: Home > Double-person icon in the upper right corner > Health Circle

(2) On this page, users can view the approved list of members within their Health Circle. Users can click the icon in the upper right corner to add family and friends to their circle and enter the other person's ASUS account details. Users gain access to their health data once the other party accepts the request.

• Clarification of the Health Circle list:
1. Family and Friends: Individuals whose health data users wish to monitor. For example, if users want to track their father's health metrics, their father's profile will be displayed in this list.
2. Authorization List: Individuals granted access to view users' health data. For example, if users want their son to access their health metrics, their son's profile will appear in this list.

(3) Adding Friends:
• Tap the upper right corner icon to add the person's account (email or +886 phone number). The recipient will receive the invitation within a few seconds (depending on network speed).

• On the recipient's ASUS HealthConnect App, a red dot will appear in the upper right corner of the health data main screen, indicating a new invitation to view health data. They will see an invitation dialog box when they click on the Health Circle page. After reading the content, if they agree to share their health data with you, they can press Confirm. Once confirmed, you will appear in their Authorization List, granting you access to their health data.

• After the recipient confirms the invitation, you will appear in their Family and Friends list. From now on, you can view their health information.

• Below is an example of a son wanting to view his father's health data:
(1) Steps for adding a family member (father):
As the son, open the Health Circle page in your app, click the single person icon in the upper right corner, then click Add Account, and enter the ASUS member account number of your family member (father) in the dialog box.

(2) Steps for the family member (father) to grant access to the son:
The family member (father) opens the ASUS HealthConnect app on their phone, clicks on the upper right corner of the main page to enter the Share and Support section, then clicks on Health Circle to view the content of the red dot. After reading the dialog box, if the family member (father) agrees to share their health data with the son, they can press Confirm, indicating their consent for the son to view their data.

(3) After the family member (father) grants access to view their health data, their name will appear in the Family and Friends list in the son's app. Clicking on their name will allow the son to view the family member's health data.

(4) How to remove friends from the Health Circle:
• In the Family and Friends list, individuals whose health data you can view are listed. Click on the person's name, then press the trash can icon in the upper right corner to stop viewing their health data.

• In the Authorization List, individuals who can view your health data are listed. Click on the trash can icon next to the person's name/account, and they will no longer be able to view your health data. Additionally, when users click the delete button, the other party will not receive a specific notification, and they will immediately lose access to view their health data.

✦ Why can't I see a friend's latest health data even though they are already on my Family and Friends list?
Please check if Auto Backup is enabled under Settings > Backup Data. If Auto Backup is disabled, data in the app will not be automatically uploaded to the cloud, so you won't be able to view your friend's recent health information in the Health Circle feature.

✦ Ensuring user privacy in the Health Circle:
(1) To use the Health Circle sharing feature of the ASUS VivoWatch series, users must create an ASUS member account. The system requires authorization to upload your health data to the ASUS cloud. The system cannot connect to the cloud or use the Health Circle sharing feature without logging into an ASUS member account.
(2) Health data is considered personal privacy information. Sharing and receiving health data requires the other party's consent to uphold privacy principles.
(3) To protect personal privacy, health data within the Health Circle cannot be directly forwarded to other friends. To view a friend's health data, you must add their account.
