I do not back up to the cloud. I have a wd external hard drive that I was using to back up my old pc with Acronis true image. When I got a new ASUS pc, I could not use my backup to transfer my data, it just would not recognize the backup which was extremely frustrating but luckily I was able to use ASUS switch to do so. It transferred all of my data except my outlook mail. I was finally able to transfer my outlook mail with a flash drive. Since I had issues with the Acronis for a back up, I want to just use the ASUS switch to backup my pc. It looks like my mail might be in the backup as well but I am unsure. How can I tell if my mail is really in the backup? And if I backup my whole pc say once a week or once a month, using ASUS switch, is it going to overwrite what I already have on the external or will I just have to dump a new file and delete the old each time? I want to avoid using the cloud. Any information anyone can provide will be appreciated. Thanks
