ASUS ROG X13 GV301QC USB C Display port no signal detected after login from sleep mode

Sometime in the beginning of 2023, my external USB C monitor stopped waking up when I login to my X13 from sleep/lock mode. Unplugging the USB C connector and replacing it restores signal to the external USB C monitor. Same behavior for both the USB C ports on the left or right.

It was working perfectly fine before, so I suspect some recent software updates broke it. Any clues? Solutions appreciated.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics driver below and restarted but still the same. Did not solve the issue.

If you replace the TYPE-C cable with a different one or connect it to a different display, does the problem still persist? Also, could you please provide the brand and model of the TYPE-C cable and external display currently being used? Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
