Unlocking of ZenFone 8?

Hello dear Asus team,

I purchased a ZF8 assuming that the unlocking tool provided would work. Is it expected that unlocking will be possible again? Otherwise the phone is useless to me and then I would sell it again 😞

@Titan_ASUS, are you an employee? Is someone of this company able or willing to answer? I mean, if the answer was "no, we won't re-enable the unlocking tool" then at least I knew and would start looking for another phone. The way it is I feel ignored and frustrated.
