Battery Drainage Issue after latest 1 August 2020 security update

After the recent 1 Aug 2020 security update, it definitely seems to me that the battery drains out pretty quickly, compared to before update scenario. To clarify, no new apps or any modification has been done in the phone after security update. Earlier, a day or day and a half battery storage was a normal, but after this update battery is struggling to even keep up for 23-24 hrs. I have even tried keeping the phone on Airplane mode in between, but still nothing more than a day of usage.

Hi, when you say that your SOT (Screen on Time) has gone down, can you share the SOT after trying the below:
1. Charge the battery to 100% & use as per your normal usage pattern
2. When the battery strength reaches 10%, go to settings = Battery => Tap on the battery icon & share the graph
3. settings => Battery => Check the screen & share the same

We'd request you to kindly update to the latest firmware version which is Version WW-17.1810.2008.171
Also, please follow below steps may improve battery backup:
1. Enable “Power saver” (Settings > Power management)
2. Close apps that are not used (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc.)
3. Adjust sleep time and brightness (Settings > Display)
4. Boost memory when you see memory consumption is high with no app running,
5. check for background running applications, stop/disable unwanted apps, you can manage apps from auto-start manager.
