Hi everyone,
Recently it seems that the device took some app updates and the camera app just got "destroyed" so to speak,
previous functions went missing overnight, some other went to a new menu, I no longer have a button to swith between front and main, and whenever I try to go to video recording (either normal or pro) the app seems to "load" with a white circle up of the screen and gets into error "other app is using the camera, please close and try again", but it's not true and even if I erase de cache it will still doing the same.
Current version is 11.6.16.0_251002_ai2401_zww
Any ideas out there? Any one knows how to revert the camera to a previous version?

I remember having a similar issue like 9 or so month ago, where whenever I tried to go into the camera app the screen was just black and it told me that camera was used by another app.
It happend to me not more than 3 times, moments in which this bug appeared were pretty random, but just to restart my phone always helped.
As of now since Android 15 update came out I don't think I had such issues anymore. Right now my camera app is normal, even though I also downloaded the latest update, which was a security patch update.
Try restarting your phone I gues

I've tried many times, and erasing the cache, and restoring the settings within the app... nothing worked (and if any app makes you having to restart the phone everytime you need to use it it's not working well at all)... The playstore now tells me the app is not compatible with the phone, and it's like, excuse me? the phone is the second most recent, what the hell is that?
So I think the only solution is to reinstall it with the apk, the store wont let me do nothing...

Dang that's pretty crazy. I agree that it is a problem if any other action is need to be taken in order to open an app besides opening the app. You'll probably have to wait for an official answer form moderation staff

Hello @DiegoJ
I'm sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a notification for this issue.
The latest firmware for the Zenfone 11 Ultra is 35.1210.1420.156, could you please check if this is the one you are on?
You can find it by going to Settings > System > About phone > Build number.
