[Merge Fellas Unlimited Shake] Zenfone 10 gimbal issue? modhello.com

Hey Zenfone community,

First time posting here. I've been really enjoying my Zenfone 10, especially the camera system. However, I've run into a very strange and specific issue and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

The Problem: I was playing a game called Merge Fellas. There's a power-up in the game that creates an "unlimited shake" effect on the screen. Whenever this animation plays, I can distinctly feel and hear a faint, high-frequency buzzing or vibration coming directly from the camera module on the back of the phone.

It's not the normal haptic feedback; it really sounds like the physical gimbal stabilizer is reacting to the on-screen effect.

My Question: Has anyone else noticed this behavior with other games or apps that use intense screen-shake effects? I'm trying to figure out if this is just a weird bug in that specific game, or if it's a software quirk in how the Zenfone 10's firmware controls the gimbal. It's concerning if a simple app can cause a physical hardware reaction like that.

I know it's hard to describe the sound, so I've put together a document with my phone's firmware details, the troubleshooting steps I've already tried, and a link to a screen recording where you can faintly hear the noise.

Here are the detailed notes and video link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gNFeYd0dJFR44emjVAgiQ1_qdF8QII9lIy3FZd6iZ_U/edit?usp=sharing

Any thoughts or similar experiences would be a huge help. I'm really curious to know if I'm the only one seeing this.

Thanks!

Hello @himekawoa
The gimbal normally reacts to movement even when it's not in use, so it's normal for it to make a noise, I would say it's nothing to worry about
