Zenbook S16 automatically cold boots at same time and the time changes after BIOS firmware update

Hello,
I'm using Zenbook S16 and I have problem that the laptop automatically boots at the same time (everyday, unless I use laptop at that time).

When I noticed it at first, it was UTC 02:15:26,
but after I updated BIOS firware to V318, the time changed to UTC 11:53:40.

I checked
1) eventvwr.msc: The Event ID was 12, so it is not awake from sleep or hibernating. It was really cold boot.
2) BIOS firmware update: My last update is 2025/06/27 with BIOS UM5606WA V318
3) Unfortunately, this laptop doesn't have option of UEFI setup.
4) EC resetting: I press my power button for 40 secs on 2025/07/01,
and it seems the problem solved until 2025/07/04 (for 3 days),
but 2025/07/05 UTC 11:53:40, it happened again.

I also checked
1) Powercfg: No wake timers
2) taskschd.msc: No scheduled tasks
3) Windows power settings: No problem
4) Nothing connected externally: USB, Printers, Mouse,...
The only connected thing was power adaptor.
5) Window defender: No virus
6) MyASUS system diagnosis: No problem

The only thing that has changed on this computer is "SSD".
I changed into 2TB "KIOXIA-EXCERIA PLUS G3 SSD", since 1TB is too small for me.
And I didn't fill any inconvenience while using that SSD
- No BSOD, No booting problem when I want to use laptop, No freezing.
- and the MyASUS system diagnosis said no problem on SSD.

So I have question:
1) Is this happens because of BIOS firmware?
Actually, I suspect this because the auto-booting time was changed after updating the Firmware.
1-1) If so, Can You Update the Firmware? Or should I downgrade BIOS firmware or EC resetting every 3 days...?

2) Can this happen because of hardware compatibility?
2-1) If so, What Can I Do for Solving This Problem?

I'll attach all the screen captures for this post.
Because the computer language is not English, I tried to translate,
and since pdf is not supported, I changed very big PNG.
Thank you.

Hi

Does it have a CMOS coin cell battery, if so, is it new?

Can you give the full model details please.

It's a laptop (Zenbook S16, Model name: UM5606WA), so it should have a CMOS coin cell battery somewhere on the motherboard. And I bought this laptop this February (2025/02/17), so it might not dead yet.

@WhiteCoatRabbit
May I ask if you usually shut down your laptop by selecting the shutdown option when not in use, or do you simply close the lid?
We suggest going to Windows Device Manager > Network adapters > Power Management to check if there is an option like "Allow this device to wake the computer." If so, please disable it.
Alternatively, you can try resetting the BIOS to its default settings and observe whether the issue persists.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hi, when I finish my laptop, I click 'window > ⏻ > ⏻ shutdown'. I rarely close the lid - mostly I just put it on my table with the same position. Maybe I should observe whether this happens when I close the lid.

I checked Network adapters and no such options are activated.

So I reset BIOS as you recommended. (Thank you for my language 🙂 ) I'll wait and see if it helps.

cf. Yesterday I unplugged my power adaptor and close the laptop and put it into bag for today's meeting, and today I found that the auto-booting was not occurred yesterday. Maybe I should observe these conditions (lid open and close? power adaptor connected or not?) also...
