Hi,
I'm having thermal issues in my brand new Zenbook 14 with Intel Ultra 285H (UX3405CA-U9321TB)
First, the fan noise is very annoying during idle or low load. When browsing and opening several tabs in the explorer and maybe 2 or 3 apps it's start to spin up to high speeds. Temperature when idle is 50°+ and go easily between 60°-70°.
During a Meet, with camera + background images the laptop starts to throttling with 90°+. It hit temp limit 3 times and shutdown instanly.
Please advice how to solve this issue. I'm using Ubuntu.

@lorenz29
We regret that since we have not tested the Linux system, we cannot guarantee its stability and compatibility.
We recommend that you change the system to Microsoft Windows and then confirm whether the problem has improved.
If you have recently purchased the laptop and encounter problems during use, we also recommend that you consider contacting the dealer to confirm whether a return or exchange is possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What about if I tell you that is running at 70+ degrees even when entering the bios? Would you still say is an OS issue?

@lorenz29
There are no system utilities in the BIOS to assist with power saving, so it is normal for the temperature to be higher compared to when the operating system is running. Thank you.
