I'm using an Asus Zenbook Pro PX13 (AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, 32GB RAM), and I've noticed that during heavy rendering in After Effects, the CPU seems to cap out at 4.0GHz, even though the advertised boost clock is up to 5.2GHz.
Is this normal behavior?
I expected it to hit closer to the max boost during rendering.
Temps are hovering around 85°C, and the fans are going, but performance doesn't seem throttled otherwise.
Is this thermal throttling? Or maybe some power setting in Windows or BIOS?
I’ve already set my power plan to “High Performance.”
Any advice would be appreciated!
