I am trying to order an ASUS Zenbook S 16 OLED. I have tried using both my debit and credit card, and both transactions go through with no issue according to the bank, but ASUS does a chargeback two minutes later every time. I have checked six times and also verified directly with my bank that all of my order information is correct, and every time I get an email saying "Your order has been cancelled. You won't be charged." two minutes after an order is placed.
I can't find the laptop (ASUS Zenbook S16 UM5606 with the HX 370) on any of the authorized resellers for ASUS, and ASUS has a $500 discount for members on that laptop currently so if someone finds a reseller that will ship it for $1406 then that would be a solution.

I eventually found a listing for an HP Elitebook with an HX 375 for real cheap used so I went with that.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DTYYZ1F9
It costs way more on amazon new but that's where I found the used listing if anyone wants to take a look.

I have tried calling the support hotline 3 times and all they tell me to do is make sure that the info I entered is correct, or look for the laptop on another website.

My dad cannot buy the laptop either, and after doing further research, nobody can. I have no idea how ASUS let something like this happen for so long.

If anyone finds this and cannot buy an ASUS Zenbook S16, some viable alternatives from my spreadsheet are:
HP EliteBook 8 G1i 16 ($1300-1600)
Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition ($1021)
Lenovo ThinkPad X9 15 Aura Edition ($1600)
LG gram 17 ($1700)
Dell Pro Max 16 (~$2000)
All of them besides the Dell Pro Max 16 use the Intel 258V/268V processors which are Intel's most power efficient Lunar Lake chip with integrated graphics (saves board space and power) instead of the HX 370/375 which is about twice as fast, which is unfortunate, but they both have similar levels of performance per watt, so are both usable for my (non-gaming) use case.
The Lenovo Slim 7i is a hell of a deal, although I may get the ThinkPad instead for the better battery life, screen (3k 120hz oled), and build quality.
