Hello Asus Community,
I purchased an ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3405CA on 03/06/2025.
I noticed unstable performance in the early weeks, but I took time to test all possible software solutions (updates, drivers, resets) before sending it to the service center after 4 months. Unfortunately, the issue continued and was confirmed to be a motherboard defect.
I sent it to the official service center in Egypt (Raya–Mohandessin) with receipt number 4671846.
They kept the laptop for 14 working days and later informed me that there is a motherboard defect.
They only offered a motherboard replacement, despite the device being new and still under warranty.
Because this seems like a manufacturing defect, I’m kindly asking:
Is it possible to request a full replacement instead of a motherboard repair?
I trust ASUS's quality, and I believe there must be an official solution for cases like this.
Any guidance or support would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you 🙏

@Somayah
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
According to the manufacturer’s warranty policy, the service center primarily provides repair-related services, including the replacement of faulty components (such as the motherboard) to restore the product’s normal functionality.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your reply.
I completely understand the warranty policy.
However, since this is a motherboard failure after less than 4 months, I believe it qualifies as a manufacturing defect, not a regular repair.
My main concern is long-term reliability. A major component, like the motherboard, failing this early makes the device feel unstable, even after repair.
I kindly request escalation to the appropriate department to review my case for a full replacement.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
