Asus Ux325ja not charging after myAsus applied new firmware

Hi,

MyASUS app installed automatically newest firmware for charhing via usb-c. After installation usb-c doesn't work, it's not charging and Device Manager shows UMC UCSI ACPI driver error.

Any ideas how to fix it?

It's probably due to the firmware upgrade. Unfortunately there are limited options cause reflashing BIOS requires charger to be connected.

Yes, that's the same what I had in mind. I have already contacted Asus in my country over RMA and they will send a courier ASAP.

Received the laptop yesterday. Working as good as new. According to the info from ASUS some parts were replaced, no details which exactly. Probably the whole mainboard because after turning the laptop on for the first time it would pretty loud. Thermal paste needs some time to adapt.
