Warranty timeframe incorrect

Hi, I bought my first ASUS laptop last week and have registered it on line.  I thought the default warranty was supposed to be 12 months.  This does not appear to be the case.  Please see picture below.

Hi! Don’t worry, this is normal. ASUS sometimes starts the warranty date from when the laptop was shipped to the store, not the day you bought it. That is why it may look shorter.

You can fix this by sending ASUS your proof of purchase, like your invoice or receipt. After they check it, they will update your warranty to match the real date you bought it.

So yes, the laptop does have 12 months warranty, it just needs to be corrected on their system.
