Subject: Urgent: High Fan Noise & Faulty Sensor on Asus Vivobook - [S6N0KD00000423C (S5506MA-MA025W)]
Hi Asus Support Team,
My Asus Vivobook's fan is constantly running at its maximum speed, creating unusually loud and persistent noise. :speaker_high_volume:
I've already completed all the standard troubleshooting steps outlined in the Asus help manuals and support articles (including BIOS/driver updates and checking performance modes), but the problem hasn't changed.
I strongly suspect this is a hardware fault with the thermal sensor. The fan's behaviour suggests it's not receiving correct temperature readings from the system. It runs at full blast regardless of the actual workload.
The key evidence is that the fan remains at its highest RPM even when the laptop is idle and CPU usage is below 4%.
Since software fixes haven't worked and the symptoms point to a faulty sensor, I'd like to open a service request for a hardware inspection and repair.
Thank you.
