Wi-Fi stopped working

The Wi-Fi + hotspot randomly stopped working on my phone, does anybody know how to fix it?

I have the same issue, been around a week too. Have also finally tried factory reset without success.

I've been looking around on the web and this seems to be a consistent issue, is it something that Asus is looking into? I was considering upgrading to the new rog phone 9 but this doesn't bode well.

It's a common issue with ASUS phones in general, after doing a lot of research and watching YouTube videos of repairs. The only way to POSSIBLY fix this would be to reball the CPU - look up "reballing phone CPU" on YouTube and you will see what the process is like.

This doesn't guarantee a 100% fix because the issue might reoccur and come back, I believe it has to do with overheating of the phone, which is why it's so common with these "powerful" ASUS products like their ROG lineup and the Snapdragon Smartphone for Insiders - they get HOT.

Anyways, let me know what fix worked for you if any, or what you plan on doing.
