So, I broke my cable a couple of week back and had no response on what to do so I am using the same cable to charge the phone, no problem so far (beside the difficulties of having the cable set to its functional state) and had this message today, while charging my phone for less than 30 minutes. What should I do now ?

Buy a third party Type C cable or get one from the Asus' service center or Asus' store, either way you have to pay for the cable. If you have any another cable lying around, please use that instead of broken one, as it might harm your device.
