High temperature / CPU usage / battery drain on 2009.47

As many posted on the forum. I and everyone have similar issue. (This is already upgraded for whole night and a full charge)
CPU also peak at 2.84/2.96 as from Armoury Crate even didn't do anything
Temperature goes high
Battery drain quickly
"Android System" also taking all battery usage from Battery page
What I observed:
From running processes, "Google Play Service" always show up, which not the case in old firmware
What I've tried to fix:
Wipe data (all data not just cache) for Google Play service and Armoury Crate. After cleaned, seems the CPU back to 826Hz, but after I restart the device, it go back to 2.84/2.96 all the time
There may be something wrong on this?

Restarted, everything.

Not normal for the phone to be this hot. Cpu is nearly at 3ghz idle?!?

I am not a mod, but it does not look normal indeed. It is also weird you have 22 hours remaining. The system temperature looks to be always32 too.
I have got my temperature and CPU usage down. I am still on my one charge from this morning. As soon as I get it charged for tomorrow morning, I will let you know what I have done.

Asus is joking! CPU aways at 2.96ghz. Asus fix this now! Or let me downgrade!

Since the latest update I'm these temps, side of the phone is really hot. Live in the uk so ambient temperature ain't the cause.

Yeah I can confirm too the new update 17.0240.2009.47 has CPU always idling between 2.84GHz & 2.96GHz and due to this it's warm all the time & also the battery is draining quicker, pretty sure this isn't good in the long run as it could also degrade the battery.
@Gustav_ASUS @Anders_ASUS can we expect a fix soon?
