I'm confused. So your issue is that you cannot use the built in microphone when you use the headphone jack but can use it if you use a type C to 3.5mm adapter?
Hi zxops47, Can you please elaborate your issue better? When you connect headphone/earphone, your mic isn't working - Check and confirm trs aux cable - Kindly share a screenshot setup If you are using dongle please share with a screenshot
