Title says it all same issue as all the other rog fones and zen phones. Worked yesterday now no chance. Have another exact same phone works on that one same app version every thing is up to date so don't bother saying update it. Device is protected and what not from Google play I'm lost no ideas apart from factory reset which is totally last resort.
Cheers

Yes, we need a security update that includes the packages I mentioned above to be able to use Google wallet again.

No fix after factory, so the question remains the device is listed under pay protect but Asus won't fix it. Spoke to them all they want is money to tell me to buy a new phone. When the issue is them to fix

I have the same problem, Google Wallet / NFC payments was working fine until this week, suddenly stopped working causing me issues at POS. I followed all the instructions and my phone has NFC enabled, it wasn't locked during the transaction, Google Play is on the latest version and the device is certified.
Please fix this

Yes my friend, you, like all Snapdragon 888 / Gen 1 users, will need to wait for a security update path with the Snapdragon chip vulnerability guidelines. This update from Google came into effect this week, all we can do is flood social media and Asus's customer service for the security update.

I wonder my ROG 5S still have stock Android 11 without any upgrade and not updated at all.
But my Google wallet is still working with Android Security update of September 5 2021
Not Rooted and never done factory reset.
