3 Days ago, my #ROG5 wifi stopped turning on and hotspot is also showing error. I visited the local service center (which is just a collection center) where is was told that the phone would be shipped off to Delhi and the process would take 25-30 days. Only after then would they be able to diagnose the issue and confirm the charges. Same thing was confirmed by online chat support. Phone's out of warranty too.
Now going through the endless threads about the same topic, i can see that i am not alone to face this issue. Can anyone confirm of any resolution (other that shelling out 90% cost of a 4 year old phone) or should i switch to a dependable brand with a proper local service center?
