Asus Rog 5/5S security update to fix Google Wallet Issue

Many users, including myself, are facing issues with Google Wallet on the ROG Phone 5/5S due to outdated security patches. ASUS has acknowledged the issue, but there is no clear timeline for a fix. Can ASUS provide an estimated release date for a security update to resolve this? Thanks!

Only if bootloader unlocking was still available, we could have fixed these ourselves without relying on Asus.

I'm having the same problem, and so far, no solution has been provided by ASUS.

The only solution Asus suggested is that we send our device to their service center for repair and they could charge us to fix the problem because these devices are currently out of warranty.
