Asus Rog 5/5S security update to fix Google Wallet Issue

Many users, including myself, are facing issues with Google Wallet on the ROG Phone 5/5S due to outdated security patches. ASUS has acknowledged the issue, but there is no clear timeline for a fix. Can ASUS provide an estimated release date for a security update to resolve this? Thanks!

I don't know if it has anything to do with either your country location or network service provider restrictions if any.
No matter with any internet network it should works if it matches the latest security patch update complying with the app provider latest software version

BTW, I upgraded to Android 13 just last month

Was your phone running Android 11 before that?

yes on A11. and asus service support said i need to visit service center to upgrade to latest android 13 for which i don't have time to go. So i was adamant that ofcouse with right tools and correct firmware one can upgrade by their own, no need to visit their service center. Hence i found right things and upgraded it by myself.
And all worked out well and everything working fine since a month so far.
Also its still under 1 year warranty as i have just purchased it last year. Silly me I didn't know there was no point to buy this now as that model have become older and no support will be provided from Asus.
