Fingerprint settings disappeared and SIM Card not getting detected after update

Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name: ROG Phone 5
Firmware Version: 18.0840.2109.188
Rooted or not: No
Frequency of Occurrence: Since Nov. 13 2021
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):
The phone does not detect any SIM Card on both slots, along with that the fingerprint settings disappeared completely.
Factory reset didn't make any difference.
I had visited the service center once, they installed a different software (.183) on the device and the problem solved completely, but it came back after 1 day.

Is this a known issue which is solvable by an update or is it a hardware issue which requires me to visit the SC again?

If you have already been to the SC, request you to visit again as that will be a quick way to fix the issue. If you have any issues during or post service please share me the RMA no. via DM.
