Hi ASUS ZenTalk Community,
I’m facing an issue with my ROG Phone 3 where both SIM cards (Jio on SIM 1, Vodafone Idea on SIM 2) randomly crash, and I stop receiving SMS on both. This has happened three times so far. To receive SMS, I have to remove one SIM, but even then, it doesn’t always work. Here’s what I’ve tried:
Contacted Jio service; they confirmed no issue with the SIM or network.
Tested both SIMs in another phone – they worked perfectly.
Put the SIMs back in my ROG Phone 3 – the issue returned.
Did a factory reset once, but the problem persists.
I suspect this is a software issue since the SIMs work fine in another device. I also noticed a similar issue reported by another user on ZenTalk in April 2025 about random SIM crashes, but they got no response. Has anyone else faced this? Any solutions or workarounds? Is there an official fix from ASUS for this issue?
