ROG Phone 5 slow mobile data

When using 4g my max download speed is about 10mb/s. I can move my SIM to my wifes Apple iphone 8 and she gets 50mbs. I have movedher sim to my ROG5 and 10mbs. Our SIMs are with the same carrier.
I have swap SIM holders on my ROG ( 1 and 2) and SIM2 seems to be a little faster although not materially so.
Has anyone seen this problems?

I should add that I have tried :

Resetting my all of my network settings. Switching SIM slots. Trying a separate SIM on the same network.
I live 500m from the mobile tower.
When I walk towards the tower performance increases, standing literally under the mobile tower I get 30mbs

All with the same result.
When I connect to wifi I get 50mb. Same as my wife's Apple iPhone.
