I have been facing similar issue with my newly purchased ASUS ROG G513QM- some random small dark squares appearing from time to time, flashing all over the screen for several seconds before disappearing again. It normally occurs during a system restart or Power On, and sometimes during normal work.
I am curious to find a workaround, ideally a permanent fix to this issue since it is disturbing and irritating 😞
