Fellow Zen WiFi Pro ET12 users, just wanted to ask how many of you are successfully using the latest firmware version for your routers/nodes and what firmware version is that?
Reason for my question is I and many others had a really bad headache earlier this year back in April after updating to the latest firmware version at that time. Where the node(s) ended up yellow with no connected clients after the firmware upgrade. All described in detail in this now locked thread.
I and others eventually managed to "solve" the problem after lots of hassle by downgrading to version 3.0.0.4.388_24542-g719e902 which is the version I'm still running after the adventure back in April. The kind of adventure I don't like to experience again.
With this said, from a security perspective, it doesn't feel all great being on a old version and would love to be on the latest one. As long as it won't cause any issues and leave me with a non-working WiFi again.
Big thanks in advance for your input guys!

When the GT-AXE16000 transitioned to 3.0.0.6 beta it was quite the disaster. (At the same time I had just received a GT-BE98 Pro and transitioned the AXE16000 to AiMesh node)...
There appears to be a second 3.0.0.6 release, 3.0.0.6.102_36602 Have you tried it?

Nope, I stayed clear of that version too after I read how someone else tried it. It did fix the issue with the yellow lights on the nodes but instead, he ran into another issue using that version. I didn't find a way to link directly to his post but you can find it at the bottom of page 9 in the other thread I linked to above.
Looks like ASUS isn't working very quickly coming out with a fully working firmware version. So I guess I'll just stay with the version I've been on for quite some time now where everything works.
Quite sad seeing such poor support for products in this price range.

Checked the other thread, and the post you referenced was dated April 20, but the latest firmware is dated May 5th...

Below is a screenshot referencing the post in the other thread I was referring to where someone else tried a later BIOS version and to the right in the screenshot, you see the latest BIOS version available today.
As you can see, they look very similar judged by the version number.
