Have a nvidia shield connected directly to the router as well as a synology NAS. The shield is unable to connect to the NAS while both connected with ethernet, however if I change from ethernet to wifi on the shield, I manage to connect. I have read some users experience the same issue but no solution to this.
I have tried other devices as well and narrowed the problem down to the router.
Anyone know what to do?

I also have a raspberry pi connected to the router but it neither can`t connect to the NAS.

I disconnected both devices from the router, and connected them to a separate hub, and then connected the hub directly to the router. The devices can now communicate. Seems to be firmware problem or something on the router.

I have the exact same problem - seems like a software bug indeed. Did you raised a case with Asus?

according to your issue, we suggest trying a cross-test using a regular USB cable to check if there is any problem.
Additionally, we recommend resetting your router. You can also connect a computer to the router and perform a ping test between the NAS and the NVIDIA devices to see if they can communicate with each other.
Furthermore, you can also contact NVIDIA customer support to confirm the issue.
Thank you.
