Upgrade my Mesh setup to ROG STRIX GS-BE18000

I currently have a mesh setup with 2 XT8's, 1 BD4 and a TUF-AX3000 v2.

I want to upgrade it to allow the creation of multiple SSID's and have more power and flexibility. I was thinking about GS-BE18000.

My question is: If i create this new setup on the new router (that will become my main router), will the other 4 operate the same way? Meaning, having multiple SSID's? Or is this function limited to the main router?

It depends on how you set your network up. If you use the BE18000 as the main and Mesh the other units with it as nodes, they will use the SSID network configuration you set up in the BE18000. If you set up the older units as APs connected to the BE18000, you can retain the networks each is set up for.

If creating these multiple SSIDs on the BE18000, they will broadcast on the mesh nodes using the same bands as the main. Of course a 6GHz SSID will only broadcast on the main,  and one 5GHz band on the XT8s will drop from client use (possibly dropping to fulltime backhaul).  You can increase bandwidth manually on the main but bandwidth on the nodes will not exceed their factory settings. Yes, this will work. My original answer was in thinking you wanted various SSIDs from each router - different from the main.

The Be18000 would be my main Mesh router and the rest, the nodes. All configs will be done by the new one.
Will the other have the capability of broadcasting multiple SSID's also? Are you sure? Like Main/IoT/Security/Guest...

The XT8s being tri-band will have an issue in AiMesh since the third band of the GS-BE18000 is 6 GHz, while the XT8 third band is 5 GHz.  5 GHz-2 will not be manageable.
