BE14000/BT8 3.0.0.6.102_56914 Upgrade

ASUS posted a new firmware update to help address the issues with the previous FW versions on the BE14000 and BT8 mesh systems. Several folks have upgraded to the 56914 version. So far, so good. If you have issues with the BT8 or BE14000 recently you might want to consider upgrading to 56914.

The one thing we have noticed is that the 56914 syslog has repeated Assoc/Disassoc messages. Have not seen any issues with it though.

When did you make the hard resets? Don't get me wrong, I really hope this works for you, but I've tried several hard resets on all units and all that happens is that it runs as it should for a maximum of 2-3 days before going back to having the issues again. Most of the times the issues have come back after around 20-24 hours of uptime.

Yesterday, around 11:00.
First only used the "main" router. So I could se that it wasnt any issue. 1 main network with all bands.

After that I hard reset the other one "server" And still no issue here.
And my boy didnt have any issue with gaming or streaming. Before he was shouting "DAD! Are you "fixing" the internet again!  Same from my wife, no yelling that it doesnt work.

No complains yet.. really hope it works now!

But I really want diffrent name on the bands.. but if this work, im not gona change anything until the next firmware..

I had made one of the earlier posts.... initially when I installed this firmware I was optimistic, but for me I'm still having a lot of the same issues, it may be marginally better than earlier firmware.

Still having issues with some of my iot devices dropping connection, still buffering issues on my TV despite the ASUS app showing everything with"Great" Connections..., still having issue with things loading on our iphones, the pauses and lags that everyone else describes, it does seem worst when connected to the nodes that are connected by wireless backhaul- is this what the problem is? Could anyone confirm if I connect them by an Ethernet backhaul- would these problems go away?

There are so many settings as well it's hard to experiment with them since every little change seems to trigger a 5 min reboot cycle... Could someone who isn't having issues post some ideal settings, particularly if they're different than the default?

I hope Asus figures this out, or if it is a hardware problem that can't be fixed by firmware updates they need to admit it, fix it, and offer us replacement products which do work.

Have you tried to turn off the mesh 2.

Seems like the mesh system is the problem not the router it self.

If the issue continues? I had hoped you could use the other one as a extender..but no, it's mesh or ap lan only.

So hade to use a and old asus rt 51 and extern the main bt8.

The old rt51 have like 30/30 (250/250) But it works, no paus the pages, it's slow. But it works. If I use the mesh again WLO, paus etc etc..worthless

My fiber company are going to call me on Monday. To see what the next step is.

An observation.....I have my mesh setup to use all bands - 2.4, 5 and 6Ghz for WiFi connectivity. When my Samsung S24 Plus is connected on the 6GHz band to the same node as the Nest and the MyQ (Chamberlain garage door opener), neither the Nest nor the MyQ apps responds - just spins. If I disconnect the phone WiFi and reconnect the apps work, whether the phone is on the 5 or 6 bands! This is a nuisance.

@Jjack529 , have you tried enabling QoS? I use a Custom QoS with Web Surfing #1 followed by Video Streaming.....This has worked for me.....I hope I didn't just jinx it! 🙂
