AFC and MLO Update On GT-BE98 Pro With BE96U Mesh Node

After sifting through the GT-BE98 Pro Online "Network" menu I found how to get MLO working - partially.

I use my GT-BE98 Pro main unit with a BE96U Mesh node and an AXE11000 Mesh node.

You can turn on MLO in the GUI settings, but you need to use the Online menu to get MLO actually working. Turning on the the one MLO setting in the GUI did restore 6GHz to working on my BE96U after the last update had turned 6GHz completely off on my BE96U Mesh node.

Still, no MLO icon for the BE96U despite my updated firmware BE96U is MLO compatible. But, there is a MLO signal you can connect to at the main GT-BE98 Pro after working with the well hidden deeper MLO "fronthaul" settings in the Online "network" menu.

The BE96U Mesh node still shows as incompatible in the deeper menu of the GT-BE98 main unit. But, that may have been different had I used two routers of the same model. The wording there implies it may show as compatible in the future. At any rate, MLO is only currently available to connect a client to at my GT-BE98 Pro main unit. I had wanted the BE96U Mesh node to also use MLO front and back haul, but that isn't yet available here - at least with my two dissimilar units. I have found a bit more Wi/Fi system stability (improvement) with the new MLO firmware settings/update. The new firmware update has also lowered power levels across the bands some while still improving performance.

So, here you have something of an update on MLO. As for AFC, it's still crickets.

Of note, the new update and my turning on MLO has not hurt the performance of my AXE11000 Mesh node so far.
