I have a desktop with Tuf Gaming B850 Plus Wifi mobo. Up until two weeks ago, I was able to wake it through the mouse click but for some reason I'm unable to figure out, I can't do it anymore, it won't just wake up. I also can't see both keyboard's and mouse's lights when the comp is in sleep. The only way to wake it up is to press the power button and start the computer. And yes, all these options "Allow this device to wake the computer" are already checked for the keyboard and mouse. FYI, ErP in BIOS is disabled.
I thought, the recent 'Windows 10' update might have interfered with something, so I rolled my computer back to an image created 5 months ago but this trick didn't work either.
Could this issue be related to the recent BIOS update or something else? Please advise.

You need Windows 11 for the latest security updates. It is related to security updates in the BIOS.

I am not too sure if it is related to security updates but I'll give it a try. However, if the use of Win 10 is the cause of the problem as you suggest, I'll be really pissed off with this brand forcing people to upgrade their OS. I've been using this motherboard for the past 6 months and it's already given me more than enough headaches - with this issue and the other unresolved ones.

It's a free upgrade. The other issues will also likely go away with the upgrade and its new drivers. All manufacturers set their BIOS features up for the latest OS as security is constantly changing. Windows 10 no longer has support for security changes or the drivers for new features that are incorporated into newer BIOS. There may even be a newer BIOS that improves support for your motherboard. Always use the latest BIOS.
Just don't do a clean install and you will retain everything you have that isn't incompatible with Windows 11 for security reasons. The upgrade will also support new features like WiFi 7 and more.

My Asus B760M motherboard used to do this occasionally. The computer would be on but no video. There was a keystroke combination (which I can no longer remember) which supposedly would wake up the on-board video. Sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't. I'm on the current Windows 11 (25H2) and this hasn't happened in a long time. Google "no video after sleep" and you can find that keystroke combination to see if it works for you.
