My motherboard is the ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI. CPU is Intel i9 13900k. Liquid cooled with a Corsair H150i.
Intel recently sent out an update with a new microcode to help stop the issues with this generation of CPU's and it came with ASUS's new BIOS update. But not every time I try to play any game the red CPU light goes on and that makes me nervous. It wasn't doing that before the update. Any ideas to help with this?
EDIT: Core temp is at 100 degrees. This was not happening before.

Hello @dpaq1983
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Aside from the CPU Q-LED indicator being light on during gaming, are there any other abnormalities, such as BSODs or occasional automatic shutdowns?
If not, since the Q-LED indicator is typically used to signal the POST process during startup, we recommend continuing to use the system and monitoring it.
Additionally, for discussions related to Intel CPUs, you can refer to the thread in the other official forum for ROG or TUF series products: [Intel] July 2024 Update on Instability Reports on Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen Desktop Processors.
Thank you.
