Exclamation mark next to "Network Controller"

Hi all,

I have a Tuf Gaming B850 Plus mobo and installed all the required drivers, or I think I installed, and this "Network Controller" in "Other Devices" in the Device Manager has a exclamation mark next to it.  I uninstalled the device, made a scan for hardware changes bu no avail. Am I doing something wrong or is there any a solution for this?

Thank you in advance.

Hello @Assusian

Thank  you for reaching out to us.
Could you confirm if you are currently experiencing any issues related to wireless connectivity or network access? If so, what are the specific symptoms and scenarios in which the issue occurs?
Based on your description, we recommend referring to the following FAQs for troubleshooting steps:
[Motherboard]Troubleshooting-How to fix Motherboard WI-FI connect problem
[Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - Wireless Network (Wi-Fi) Issues
[Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - Yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager
The suggested steps include restarting your system and verifying the installed driver version. If necessary, please manually install the driver version provided on the TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI support site and check whether the issue improves afterward.

Thank you.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I haven't installed wi-fi drivers as I didn't need them yet. Could this exclamation mark issue be related to the lack of drivers?

Hello @Assusian

If you don't have any related requirements at this time and your usage is not affected in any way, you may simply disregard this.

Thank you.
