I have a new-out-of-the-box PA278cv monitor which does not let me access the OSD. When the monitor turns on, after the initial flash screen, i see only "display port: no signal". If I press any of the keys to activate the OSD only the "Input Selection" screen with HDMI, Display Port, USB Type-C, and Auto Detect is offerred. That happends for any of the OSD buttons on front of the keyboard. I cannot access the full OSD menu.
I have seen a recommendation to unlock OSD by pressing and holding the OSD key immediately to the left of the power button ... that seems to have no obvious effect.
Is there a secret hand shake😊 I need to use with ASUS or is my monitor not operating correctly? It *is* new.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
